Glacors are famous for their boot drops, they have a chance to drop steadfast (melee) glavien (range) and ragefire boots (magic), these are the best boots in-game for stats, but they dont come at ease, this guide will be showing you what is recommend to take to Glacors.
first of is stats.
to kill them efficiently you'll need at least:
90/90 range
95/95 constitution
90/90 defense
76/76 prayer
96/96 summoning (optional, for pack yak to store more rocktails/pray pots saving trips back to bank)
next step, is gearing up, i found that the fastest way to kill Glacors, is to range them, the gear i found fastest to kill them was this.
This build is a cheap max DPS build, with some good defense, but pernix is alot better so try to save up for pernix if you want to farm these at 100% speed, karils will also work good on this guide, but you will get hit more often, now onto inventory.
for this guide you'll need range potions (just to down them a little faster), a few prayer potions, a pack yak pouch (again this is optional only there to save trips back to bank) and the rest rocktails. your inventory should be something like this:
*optional* if your not using a pack yak then you should replace half the prayer pots with food and if your using a pack yak familiar, then just just fill it with rocktails like this:
now your getting near the combat part, we will be focusing on prayers now, you will need to use deflect magic against them, and Leech ranged for more DPS. If you havent got the levels these two curses, you can use Rigour and Protect missles on your normal prayer book. also if your having trouble finding the Curses Altar, it is near the General store.
so you've done all the previous steps, and here comes the final step for combat, you can get to glacors by type the command ::glacors
once you typed in the command you should have been teleported here
glacors are just a little bit south, you should have now turned on your prayers and downed your potions for battle, i recomend killing from this spot its by far the best area to range them from, seeing as it is a multi zone and if you go out deeper it can be fatal.
